    Description

    This daguerreotype features the full length view of a bearded gentleman with spectacles wearing a Colonial costume. His tricorne hat appears to have an eagle on the side of it. Was he an actor? Was he part of a reenactment?
    The 1/6 plate was resealed with new glass and the case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. There is a very minor ping on the middle left side directly next to the mat that can only be seen when held at certain non viewing angles.
