LARGE FACETED CLEAR QUARTZ
STERLING SILVER FILIGREE RING
This large solitaire quartz ring is a stunner. It is beautifully faceted and glitters like crazy. It is set in a solid sterling silver bezel, with lovely filigree around it and along the shank. It is marked .925 and carries the mark of the jewelry designer, Mara Joyce. Her work is wonderful.
While this quartz ring appears bright and clear 95% of the time, very occasionally you will get a mysterious soft hint of yellow… Mara said it was because the stone is technically a citrine. But you will have to look long and hard to really see it!
The top of the ring is large, 7/8” in diameter, while the stone itself is 3/4” across. The shank is very comfortable, 8mm at the bottom. Good condition.
