Antique daguerreotype photo in a fancy brown plastic case that depicts dancers and harvest signed F.B. SMITH & HARTMAN. Latches shut, glass cover, gilt trim around photo, embossed burgundy red velvet on other side. Photo subject is a sitting woman holding a book, the photo is black and white.
Size. At edge of gilt frame around photo: 4 1/4” x 3 1/4”, At edge of case: 4 3/4” x 4”
Mark: F.B. SMITH & HARTMAN on front of case above fruit basket design.
