    This 1/4 plate daguerreotype is of a couple, likely married, identified as Elihu and Mary Andrews. The image is sharp and the contrast is good. There are no wipe marks. It has been resealed. It is in a half case that had been converted to a wall hanger with the addition of a small brass ring bracket.
